About Us
Saints Together Christian Church is an independent pentecostal church with its base in Corby, Northamptonshire, UK.
Our Objectives include:
1. To bring saints from all walks of life together for the purpose of worshipping God as one big family.
2. To win the surrounding towns and villages for Jesus Christ, namely: Kettering, Rothwell, Wellingborough, Rushden, Irthlingborough, Desborough, and Northampton.
3. To turn believers into faithful disciples of Jesus Christ through the teaching of the word of God.
4. To build lasting relationships with other local churches, businesses and local government.
5. To engage in community work to help the under-privileged, and vulnerable people whether they are Christian or not.
We aim to be examplary in the establishment of a post-modern church based on the New Testament principles of doing church.
We believe that Jesus Christ is the Head and Chief Shepherd of the church. The Five-Ascension Gift Ministries are the under-shepherds of the flock of God (these are: Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors & Teachers) Ephesians 4:11, 12.
Our emphasis is on the Word of God.
We believe that it is the Word of God that:
- brings sinners to Christ
- produces a godly character in believers
- produces disciples out of believers
- moulds worshippers into workers.
Baptism
We practise water baptism by total immersion in water.
We baptise believers only.
Holy Communion
We observe the ordinance of Holy Communion but do not follow a rigid cycle.
Only believers can partake of the Holy Communion.
We believe in Jesus Christ as the Son of the Living God.
We believe that he came from heaven to earth to die for the sins of all the people.
We believe that he rose again and ascended to heaven where he is interceding for the saints of God.
We believe that he will come again soon to receive the community of born again believers to be with him forever.
We believe that the Five Ascension Gift Ministries form the leadership of the church.
We believe in the Holy Spirit (Holy Ghost baptism with the evidence of speaking in other tongues and the empowerment for ministry through the gifts of the Holy Ghost).
We believe that men and women alike can be used of God in any capacity.
